There are several possible Bluetooth devices you may need to connect to or pair with your Windows 11 computer, from mice and keyboards to headphones, speakers and even secondary screens. Not all desktop computers have Bluetooth (although you can fit relatively cheap Bluetooth adaptors if you wish), but almost all modern Windows laptops and tablets will.

Bluetooth Pairing
Connecting Bluetooth devices, also referred to as pairing devices, is generally fairly easy. In some cases, however, you might run into problems. Read on to learn how to connect Bluetooth devices without fuss.
1 – Open Settings > Bluetooth & Devices. If Bluetooth is turned off, use the slider switch to enable it. Now make sure that the device you want to connect is in pairing mode. Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions to find out how to do this.
2 – When Bluetooth is enabled, any previously paired devices will appear at the top of the settings page. To add a new device, click the + Add device button. From the new window that opens, select the type of device you want to pair with your computer.
3 – Windows will then scan for the available devices nearby. Assuming your device is in pairing mode correctly, it should then show up in the window. Most devices will have an obvious name such as “Logitech H800 headphones”.
4 – After pairing successfully, the device will appear at the top of the Bluetooth settings page. If you can’t see it there, click the “View more devices” button. Now the device is paired, you can connect it using the “Connect” button. Windows will remember the last connected device, so next time you try to use it, it should connect automatically when Bluetooth is enabled.
